As a scuba diver heading to the Caribbean for a a vacation in Anguilla you need to keep updated with Anguilla weather. The Anguilla climate is wonderful all year round with cooler temperatures in December to warmer weather in July.
Best time to scuba dive Anguilla's sites.
That depends on whether you like the busy December travel tourists or the tourist free days in the summer months. If you don't mind scuba diving in Anguilla at this peak time then expect the cooler climate of Anguilla. December in Anguilla has an average temperature of 78°F (25.6°C) wonderful for diving.
As the January month rolls around don't expect much of a temperature change but do expect much bigger waves compared to the calmer seas Anguilla is known for.
Moving into February cool weather is still experienced, but instead of gloomy, gray skies as in the UK and Europe, Anguilla can't be beat with temperatures averaging 77°F (25°C).
I can still use my 3/2mm NeoSport Full Wetsuit and remain warm.
The busy season boils to an end in May, the stormy weather start to rumble. Personally, I have done many dives in choppy water, it sort of adds to the excitement, but it is not for everyone. Be sure to check with Anguilla's local scuba diving tours and dive centres to verify the best times to dive!
In warmer times of the year I wear a 3mm NeoSport shorty springsuit where the weather can get up to 88°F (31.1°C) in those warm summer months.
